Description

Modernist Graphique – Bauhaus Energy brings together four modernist icons and a deep blue colour field. The collection opens with Piet Mondrian’s rigorous balance of line and colour in Composition No. II with Red and Blue (1929) and Composition with Red, Blue, Black, Yellow and Gray (1921) – two works that define Neoplasticism’s clarity. It is followed by Kazimir Malevich’s Black Square and Red Square (1915), where Suprematist geometry is charged with quiet intensity. Joaquín Torres-García’s Construcción en Blanco y Negro (1938) adds an architectural rhythm of symbols and grids. Finally, a deep-blue colour field (#1E3A8A) unifies the whole – a resting point that amplifies the graphic blacks and primary colours.

Together, the works create a dialogue between order and energy, surface and structure, icon and idea – modernism’s visual language translated for the contemporary home.
