Shifting is a work in motion. A body in transformation, an identity dissolving. Through the tactile impasto technique, where paint is applied thick and alive, each movement leaves a physical echo. The surface vibrates – not only with colour, but with emotion. Grey, pink, indigo and earthy tones interact in a fragmented flow where nothing is whole, yet everything is present. The figure is both clear and elusive. Perhaps leaving, perhaps just arriving.
Shifting carries anonymity as strength, and movement as meaning. A raw, poetic image of a moment of change.
